President Bush announced his intention to
nominate Paul A. Quander, Jr. as the first Director of the Court
Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA) on October 18, 2001.
Upon his confirmation by the United States Senate on August 5, 2002,
Quander pledged to make CSOSA a national model for offender supervision.
As Director of CSOSA, Paul A. Quander, Jr. oversees a growing federal
agency created by the D.C. Revitalization Act of 1997. CSOSA is
responsible for supervising adults on probation, parole and supervised
release in the District of Columbia. |
