Tony Lewis, Job Developer and Vocational Development Specialist from CSOSA's Vocational Opportunities, Training, Education/Employment (VOTEE) Unit, was interviewed on the 95.5 PGC Community Focus program on January 10, 2010.
Mr. Lewis discusses the challenges the ex-offender population encounters when trying to find employment, the counseling and pre-employment training provided by CSOSA's VOTEE unit to the men and women under CSOSA supervision, and how CSOSA is asking to partner with the local business community to provide employment to the qualified and skilled men and women who are ready to go into the workforce and make an impact.
