Gold Standard Science

The Community Supervision Program (CSP) component of the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA) is committed to continuously improving the quality of its scientific practices and procedures. The document below was submitted to the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) in compliance with Executive Order 14303 (May 2025) on Restoring Gold Standard Science and the compliance guidance issued by the OSTP (June 2025). It outlines the steps taken by the CSP to align with the tenets of Gold Standard Science (GSS), reflects CSP’s initial implementation plan, and satisfies the reporting and public posting requirements set forth in OSTP’s guidance.
