CSOSA’s impact on public safety is best illustrated by those who successfully complete their term of supervision, indicating that they have complied with supervision conditions and generally achieved stability. CSOSA believes that the manner in which we supervise individuals under our jurisdiction, in combination with the supports provided to promote stability, helps individuals integrate into their communities and ultimately promotes a safer District of Columbia.
CSOSA achieves high successful completion rates as a result of the combination of supports, close supervision by community supervision officers (CSOs), and accountability strategies, including partnerships with local law enforcement partners.
